Since participating in the project, we have wanted to create a butterfly garden. Two years ago, fourth graders built raised beds for gardens. Last year, fourth graders built the fence around the garden and we planted milkweed and other butterfly plants and now we have monarch caterpillars and butterflies that will fly to Mexico when it starts getting cold!
